As the Tax Manager, you will play a strategic role in shaping and executing the company’s global tax strategy. You will ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations, drive tax efficiency, and contribute to key financial and operational decisions. Leading a team of tax professionals, you will enhance tax processes, mitigate risks, and optimize tax planning to support the company’s growth.

Main responsibilities- Oversee tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including direct and indirect taxes, ensuring efficiency, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence.
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns in jurisdictions the company is active in and maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities.
- Drive tax process automation and reporting improvements to support fast and accurate financial close cycles.
- Prepare and refine tax provision schedules for financial statements, ensuring accurate corporate income tax and deferred tax reporting.
- Lead the Pillar II compliance implementation, ensuring readiness for evolving global tax requirements.
- Serve as a strategic partner to finance, legal, and business teams, providing expert tax advisory on business expansions, transactions, and operational changes.
- Oversee and enhance tax audit readiness, managing relationships with tax authorities and external auditors to secure favorable outcomes.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of taxes to provide expert advice on tax planning and optimization opportunities to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Continuously monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company’s financial and operational strategy.
Core requirements- Minimum 5 years of tax management experience, including 1-3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies in a multinational or complex business environment.
- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, including expertise in tax reporting and compliance.
- Experience with process automation and leveraging technology for tax efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- High integrity, strategic mindset, and results-driven approach.
Salary range- Gross Salary from 5000 EUR/Month (depending on experience).
